So, it's the last day of January...and again, time really flies too fast. Tomorrow, we'll be in February!!

I started this week feeling lazy...we had a long holiday here because of the Chinese New Year celebrations and we went for 'jalan-jalan cari makan' (tour of food) ..pampered ourselves with sumptuous dinner and also eating out at the 'gerai' (stall) with delicious baked/grilled cockles and steamed crabs..emmmm yummm yummyyy!!!! emmm i must have gained extra kilos again and that's cause the laziness...

Little Princess in Pink

I'm so excited to be participated again in Pink Saturday , it's been a while since my last post..I've been a part of pink saturday crowd since 2009, but I haven't participated in a long while coz life's just been a bit busy and also I had actually run out of pink!!!!!

So for my 1st pink post for 2012 I'd like to share with you here the pinkness of this little princess, Amira Sofia 7 months old, a lovely daughter to my niece.

Her face, it is so perfect, she's sweet and soft and pure.

as sweet as honey, such as innocent little baby

she'll grow and she'll become as beautiful as mama....

She's definitely the best thing that ever happened to mama's life....

Fresh Young Faces...They Grown Up So Soon

I came across the above photos recently (the 1st photo above was taken sometime in 1999) and it took me back at those fun times and reminisce about the past when my children, nephews and nieces still in their very young age.Time really does fly, they're all grown up now, some of them have graduated high school and would eventually have their own lives and families soon, some still in school and college.

i call this 'choo choo train' ..whenever we have our family gathering I'll surely gather them together like this. This photo taken on December last year.

the cousins...no longer little baby boys and girls..some of them already have an enjoyable career as graphic designer, profesional beautician and some of them soon to be a quantity surveyor, a civil engineer, a pilot, a physiotherapist...alhamdulillah they're on the right track now and may they have all the courage to face whatever challenges in their lives in order to achieve their great success in the end...inshaallah

Bad day...hard time....

Hi there..

I think today is not my day..my cat czizie went missing this morning, she's my baby girl and I had her for almost 3 yrs..:( I know that some cats seem to have a natural instinct to return home but i dont think czizie is one of them because she is fixed and totally indoor and doesnt come into contact with other cats outside the house. But i do hope that she's gonna find her way home safely..i'll keeping looking and will try not to give up hope....i do believe in the power of doa and miracle do happens.....

2012 Goals

Hi there!

I’m not much of a resolution maker, but I definitely have some goals for this year and the main goal is to be consistent with my exercise/fitness routine and to keep and stay healthy…eat well, exercise more and calmer feeling…as simple as that! And I want it to become part of my lifestyle and not just a way of life in the January :)). I’m not gonna start the new year off with a bunch of resolutions that get me nowhere!

I'm hoping that this diary will make me a heck of lot more organized!!!

i love the fit and comfort of my 'oldie but goodie' running shoe! ...thinking of buying a new pair one of these days..:)))

Hi there!

time really flies so fast isnt it?! We are now already in the 2nd week of January, and February will be here soon....oh my!!..that fast!!

I must admit that I’ve been neglecting my blog for quite some time and I think I need to get started again. I need to come back to the blog and write and pick up my blogging mojo once again. I just owe it so much in the last couple of months for not being able to write and blog about hundred of thoughts, experiences, interesting findings, reading, ideas, wonderful conversation, moments and so much more. So, this gonna be one of my goals for 2012 : )).. to blog at least once a week!!!

So, I’m back!!!! Back with a new fresh starts, stay tuned for more blogposts to come along and I surely plan to catch up.

Half The Year Is Already Gone.....

wow!!!..it's June now!! and yes, half the year is already gone...don't know wheres the time going? Life has been pretty hectic this month, I was away from home for the past 2 weeks for some official and unofficial duties and missed few special personal events including my birthday on the 10th of June...heyy i feel that time flies even quicker and faster as i get older haha... talking about getting older, i turned 43 this year... quite a big number huh? lol..well age is just a number, I know that there are no magic potions that can turn back the hands of time, the key to successful ageing lies in a healthy lifestyle and free mind from worries & be happy. And 1 thing I hold dear to my heart since i hit the age of 40s is " i never want to look 20s, i just want to look good at my real age now" :)

Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful dads out there...

To my pa, happy father's day, I'm a better person now because of you, thank you for being a great role model.

To the mister, thank you for being such a great ayah to our kids

I tweeted my daughter & son on Thursday saying tht we dont really need to celebrate father's day because everyday is already like a father's day to us and having their dad around is already a blessing for us, our kids are very good at showing their appreciation all days of the year. So even without the day to celebrate, I believe that their dad feel loved and acknowledged by us.

. My daughter agreed with me but i dont get any response from my son!! But, less than 2 hours after tht, the mister, who was on his way to catch his flight from KL back to KK, texted me this:-

"any special plan for father's day..dont forget my present ;)" ...

and i was like phewwwwwww... daddy wanted to be celebrated..lol!!!!!!

We treat him to a yummy brunch together for Father's Day and an awesome action Malay movie that didnt make the mister nodded off during the film...lol...
such a great day afterall!!

once again, happy father's day to all fathers, hope you had a great day...

Long time no blog..I'm back...Anyone still out there??

Hello there!
it has been a full year since my last blog post. And it's true it's that old, 07 May 2010 was the last time i posted about Mother's Day..time really flies, isn't it. And I thought this 1 year anniversary of 'no posts' is a good opportunity for me to tell you the truth of why i orphaned my blog for so long...actually i broke my blog!!! I shifted stuff around here and there until everything looks unbalanced, I changed the template few times but didnt back up the original template first, what make it even worse when Blogger has changed few stuff around for making their tools better and i can never ever go back to where it was, everything messed up! and everything goes downhill rapidly and that was more then enough to make me cry out loud.

It gave me a minor headache from time to time to fix it up but to no avail!! I leave it unfixed and put it under restricted mode until last few days my daughter tried to fix it up and managed to bring it back as usual eventho I've lost few image gallery and data but luckily all my blogposts since 2009 are still there. Oh dear...it's been a blogger's worst nightmare when your blog crashed or broken, but i did learn a lot...:-D

Well now, im so happy I got back this blog and eager to share my thoughts and feelings again with whomever is still around here....thank you so much to all of you who have followed my blog over the years....really appreciate it...thank you ...

Happy 71st Birthday To My Very Special Woman...Ma

at the age of 20

Ma now...at 71

Today, 21st April 2010, is my very wonderful, lovely, loving, caring, beautiful, thoughtful (she's everything to me)...mother's 71st birthday. My post today is especially dedicated to this special woman in my life...Ma..Happy 71st Birthday...I thank God for giving me and the rest of the family another wonderful day to celebrate ma's birthday. May you stay healthy and happy. May Allah's blessing always be with you.

Ma had been through a very hard time when she was diagnosed with stage B2 nasopharyngeal carcinoma, cancer in her nose in May 2007 and at the same time she had suffered so much pain and inconvenience from rheumatism for the past ten years . Ma endured 8 times of radiotherapy session, in addition to many more injections and countless cold sweats of fear. She's suffered a lot due to the effects of the cancer itself . She has done with all her treatments, gone through all the difficult times, and also some bad changes for good health, but she never lost hope, she has a very strong will power and a real fighter to this “mysterious, headstrong and makes its own rules” disease...

She's not just a good mother but certainly a good wife to a good husband.

Ma, Allah gives you miracles, I always believe in that and grateful for everything...nikmat and rahmat from Him, syukur alhamdulillah. I wish I can be as strong as you're.

A very happy birthday to you Ma....I love you so much...you're the best and wonderful mom...

We are a whole year now!!!! We've just celebrated our 1st birthday few hours ago with mummy, daddy, abang Bobo, abang Johan, daddy King, uncle Nubbie and uncle No one...too bad momma Paris not around with us. It was a fun birthday party bash.. we're wearing white & pink gowns and crown with veil...and mummy bought us tuna and she just flip it out onto a plate, decorate it and put two candles on it....so it's like a mini cake..emmmmmm so yummyyyyy.....

Paris, my one and only momma cat just gave birth to 5 kittens on 09 March 2010. We're so excited..another new member in the family. We would like to thank Mr & Mrs Suhaibul for allowing Paris to stay with them since November last year, to be mated with their male cat, Chubby, because all my male adult cats in the house are neutered!!!!! Thank you again for both Mr & Mrs Shybul for taking care of our Paris and her babies. We know she is doing so well with her new family and are getting lots of love and attention. ....we appreciate it from the very bottom of our heart....

Self : Dont you have water dispenser in the hostel?

Daugther : We do, but it's in the ground floor, it'll be easy for me if I hv a thermos, so that I don't have to go down each time I want to make a hot drink or eat maggi.

Self: Oklah...we buy later....btw..how often you eat maggi??

Daugther: Maggi? emmmm once in the blue moon hehehehe....There's a thermos in the kitchen bah kan...no need to buylah mum

Self: You mean the one I displayed?

Daughter : Ya..the pink one...so cute owh mummy...I take it lah ar...

Today 03.03.2010, for the 20th time, Jeff and I will celebrate our wedding anniversary. Syukur alhamdulillah, two decades of marriage, I've been greatly blessed and lucky to have him as a partner in life and a father to our 3 wonderful children.

I thank God the Almighty for the love and strenght, may it always inspire us to be considerate of feelings and concerned for each other's needs and wishes. And also to help us to be understanding and forgiving for each other's weaknesses.

Semoga perkahwinan ini terus dilimpahi mawaddah dan rahmah hingga akhir hayat kami, amin amin ya rabbal alamin..

He Has A Feeling Too......

No One not feeling well since last week, he has fever and appetite loss. He lose weight from 7kg to 5.1kg now.... poor little fellow...he used to be very active and playful among the others, but he lose interest in things that were once exciting for him. I think No one miss my daughter, he used to sleep with my daughter before she went to college, but now he has to sleep with the other fellows.

I've noticed that since 2 or 3 weeks ago No one always laying in front of my daughter's room and meowing, seemingly calling for my daughter to open the door. When I open the door for him, he'll jump to her bed and sometime he wanders around her room. He'll stay inside her room for hours and often look all around my daughter's favored place. I thought that his 'searching' behavior is normal and will last very soon, I dont expect that he'll become depressed.

Yeah...cats do have feelings...they have their own emotions....just like us human....cats form bonds with their owners...they do realize that someone is missing around them....
Cats and humans are built much the same way and share many of the senses - sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch. Though humans have better vision, cats have better smell, taste and hearing....

Get well soon No one...mommy will give ya extra love & attention, and promise you an exciting 'day out' when you get back to normal.....

It's just because I've been swamped by my day to day stuff at home and sometimes I get tired and uninspired to write anything...

We're now in the month of March...oh my..how time flies...goodbye February...I can cross you from my list now...you've been a challenging month to me :-)...and now I'm looking forward to March...my favourite month of the year....I love March...:-)
